Intel School was formally
known as JUE Pre and Primary School, It was founded by Mrs Esther Alexander
in 1998, a Tanzanian professional and a career Educationist, as a response
to the then perceived poor educational status in region due to the effects
of Tourism and Mining activities. According to the local officials of the
Ministry of Education, the project is in a unique position which upon its
establishment and re-location does not only act as a academic institution,
but also stand out as a model institution given its geographic location,
facilities and quality service delivery program which caters for the
students in especially difficult circumstances (poor and orphans) in the
