1-Local Board of Trustees:
(a)Mrs. Esther Alexander: Madam Esther is a Career Educationist who has
devoted more than one and half decades in teaching and managing educational
institution in Tanzania. She is highly trained and holder of Diploma in
Education. Besides, she has attended several professional courses which has
contributed towards uplifting her capacity in management, human resource
planning, leadership skills and general development work. Mrs Alexander is
the founding partner of Jue Academy and the proposed Elite School. She is
also a member of the Society of English Medium Schools (SEMS) in Arusha,
member of Sakina SDA church building committee and the chairperson of Win
Heart Association. Madam Esther has a passion for working with children
especially the less advantaged including orphans. She is currently the
Director of Jue Academy and subsequent Elite School. At the same time, is a
Co-Director of the untamed safaris based in Arusha city.
As the Director of the school, she is responsible for all the operation of
the school and is the chief officer responsible for public relations and
collaboration activities.
(b) Mr. Alaxendar Lema: Mr Alexander holds a Diploma in Tourism and Hotel
management, and vastly trained in computer operations. He is the founding
partner and current Managing Director of untamed safaris in Arusha. Prior to
joining the Untammed safaris, he spent over 5 years working with Kilimanjaro
International Airports (KIA) as a flight controller. He later joined General
Tyres Company as Sales and Marketing Manager before joining the tourism
industry. The work with General Tyres equipped him with excellent marketing
and promotion skills which will be useful in supporting the growth and
development of the proposed school. Mr. Alexander is also a member of the
Board of Directors of Jue Academic and currently co-sponsor of the Elite
School.
(c) Marieta Kiria; Apart from being a members ofBoard of Trustees (BoT), Ms
Kiria is also the Headmistress (HM) of Elite School and the secretary to the
BOT. She is a high school graduate with progressive training in school
administration, leadership, good governance and recently trained in computer
operations and public relations. She is a trained teacher with over 10 years
teaching experience. She is responsible for the systematic planning and
management of academic programs in the school and will be lead the
instructional process as Arts teacher in the upper class (Std 5 - Std7).
Prior to joining the school she was a teacher in number of schools within
Arusha region.
(d) T.N.S Kisali; Kisali Comes to Elite School with over 8 years experience
in teaching in both government and private schools in Tanzania. He is also
the Academic Master who is also responsible providing operational expertise
and advice on issues pertaining for planning of school academic calendar,
examinations and general disciple in the school. He also has a specific
interest in design and development of early childhood development programs.
With respect to education, he has gained excellent expertise in child
psychology, business planning, school-sector analysis, monitoring and
evaluation of student academic growth and development. He has successfully
pioneered the first candidates leading to award of academic excellence
having ranked Top Ten in the region in the last years 2007 National
Examinations.
(e) Gladwashington Jackson Mariki; Mr. Mariki is a certified Public
Accountant by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors of Tanzania. He
is an experienced accountant with over 30 years of practical working
experience. Currently he is the Managing partner of G-Washington and Company
an auditing firm based in Arusha City. Previously he worked with Coopers and
Lybrand Arusha branch as Senior Auditor for 4 years. He was also an
Accountant with Regional Trading Company (RTC) Arusha. He serves as a Board
of Trustees of Elite School responsible for financial advisor services
including interpretation of budgets, financial planning and ensuring that
best financial practices.
(f) Peter Ojukwu; Mr Ojukwu is a Project Development Consultant with over
ten years experience in development work, holds a MSc. Degree in Management
Information Systems. With this basic academic qualification, Mr. Ojukwu has
had a major in-put in training NGO, Government, Private and Public companies
staff in East, Central and Southern Africa in the integration of MIS in
development. He has been involved in several project formulations,
evaluations, guided several needs assessments, impact assessments, baseline
surveys, organization assessments and development. Has supported development
projects such as the International Centre for Development (ICD), MSF
Holland, ETC East Africa, in developing participatory M&E Process for
programme resource management. He has vast experience in training on project
management, Strategic Planning, Organizational Development, Business
planning, Training Needs Assessment, Integration of M&E in project functions
and participatory extension methodologies. Has offered specialized
consultancy skills for donor funded programmes, recently completed Seven
large scale consultancies such as Strategic Planning for University of
Arusha (UoA), Staff Appraisal and Salary Review for FARM Africa Tanzania,
Strategic Planning for Tanzania Revenue Authority Staff SACCOS, Design of
Management Information Systems and Financial Systems for Enterprise and
Rural Development Community Initiatives, Baseline Survey for SMEs in Central
Corridor of Tanzania (Morogoro, Dodoma, Shinanga and Sigida), Development of
Human Resource Manual for University of Arusha, Formulation of South West
Kenya Livelihood Development Project - NOVIB Netherlands,, Evaluation of
Action Aid Kenya Early Childhood Development Community Support Grant
(ECD-CSG) programme (World Bank Project).
Presently, he serves as the Managing Director and Senior consultant at
Service Master Network Ltd; Development Consultant for the University of
Arusha (UoA), also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Elite School
and International Center for Research and Consultancy (I.C.R.C). His
extensive experience in Project Design & Analysis, Research, Training,
Strategic Planning, M&E is very vital in the development process of Elite
School
